What compensation will I receive?
|
You will receive a 25% discount from the total project proposal quote, which we prepare for you to provide to your client under your own brand and label. You are, of course, free to alter that figure (and pocket the difference) as you see fit.

You will receive a referral commission of 10% of the total project proposal quote as provided directly to the client (and copied to you) by us.

Will the customer know that they are dealing with Coastal Graphics Inc.?
|
No. As a wholesale reseller, you will be doing all of the "leg work". From our perspective, you are actually the client. You handle all sales, service and support issues during the project cycle. We, in turn, will provide you with relevant information, consultation and support, including answers to questions or concerns your client may bring to you.
Note: Coastal Graphics Inc. makes no guarantee that your client will never become aware of the fact that we are the actual service providers. We simply guarantee that we won't be the source of that information.

Yes. Coastal Graphics Inc. will deal directly with the client. We will handle all service and support issues during the project cycle. You will receive your referral commission when the project has been successfully completed and final payment has been received by us. Toward that end, you may continue to correspond with the client as little or as much as you wish.
Coastal Graphics Inc. will continue in a primary relationship with the client post project completion, directly providing the client with marketing communications and subsequent solicitations. However, for a period of one year subsequent to initial project completion, you will continue to receive a 10% referral commission (payable quarterly) on any additional services provided to the client by us.

Who bills the client?
|
You. As a wholesale reseller, you provide our services to your clients under your own brand and under your own label. Therefore, you bill your client at your own rates, and under your own terms. Upon project completion, we will simply bill you for 75% of the total (or the balance thereof) as outlined in the original project proposal.

Coastal Graphics Inc. will bill the client directly. You will receive your 10% referral commission after we have received payment in full from the client.

How will I be billed?
|
Generally, we will require a 10% deposit at the time of project commencement. Depending upon the scope and nature of the work in question, we may also opt to bill you in installments during various phases of the project cycle.
Upon project completion, we will bill you for the balance and allow you 30 days from the date of our final invoice to submit your final payment, after which time we reserve the right to contact your client directly in order to resolve the situation. Consequently, we strongly advise that you secure binding payment terms from your client before directing us to actually begin work.

We don't bill you. You bill us. For tax purposes, we will require you to provide us with a formal invoice requesting your 10% referral commission. You may provide us with this invoice at any time during the project cycle. However, we must receive your invoice AND be paid by the client before any commission can be remitted.

Is there a charge for the initial project proposal quote?
|
Generally, no. If you provide us with a reasonably accurate project description, we will provide you with a reasonably accurate ball-park estimate. If your client finds that estimate to be acceptable, we will then prepare and provide you with a more detailed, firm project quote.
Exceptions to this rule of thumb would be situations that require us to do any substantial amount of preliminary research, or proposals that require highly detailed descriptions. Such cases may qualify as consultation services, so we reserve the right to independently charge for the time and effort involved.

No. We will be dealing directly with the client during the estimating and proposal phases of the project. Consequently, any related expenses will be billed directly to the client, or simply absorbed by Coastal Graphics Inc.

Will there be any formal contract?
|
You may, of course, prepare and procure whatever contractual arrangement between yourself and your client that you see fit. Coastal Graphics Inc. will prepare and provide you with a formal itemized proposal at the time of project commencement. We will require your signature on this proposal prior to starting work.
In so far as client expectations concur with what is outlined within the proposal, the estimates quoted therein will be binding and firm. HOWEVER, if during the project cycle, you request to alter the scope or characterization of the project (or any portion thereof) in a manner that represents a significant change from what had been originally described in the proposal, we may require that the proposal be formally amended.
Additionally, Coastal Graphics Inc. reserves the right to refuse to sign (and will generally exercise that right) any formal or written agreement prepared by you for us .

No. Because we will be communicating directly with the client, we will not require you to sign any formal or binding agreement. We will, however, prepare a formal itemized proposal for the client, complete with firm and binding project component estimates, which you will receive a copy of. Any subsequent rate or fee negotiations, including those stemming from client requests for changes to what was outlined in the original project proposal, will be strictly between Coastal Graphics Inc. and the client. You will, however, be notified of any such changes.
Also, please keep in mind that as an affiliate reseller, Coastal Graphics Inc. is employing your services, not vice-versa. Consequently, we will almost certainly refuse to sign any formal or written agreement prepared by you for us.

Who handles post-project service, support and maintenance issues?
|
That's up to you. If you wish to perform that function yourself, we will continue to work with you under the same division of responsibilities and terms of compensation as described above.
If you would prefer for us to assume that role, we will from that time forward consider the client to be our own. However, for a period of one year, you will receive 10% referral commission (payable quarterly) on any subsequent services provided to the client by us.

We do. Upon successful completion of the project, we may occasionally attempt to up-sell additional services to the client directly and without your participation. Likewise, the client may opt to make future inquiries regarding additional services directly to us.
In either case, for a period of one year, you will continue to receive 10% referral commission (payable quarterly) on any subsequent services provided to the client by us.
